Small Group (SG) Classes for Families and Friends

Private Classes (PC)

A A Private Class allows you to ask all the questions you need to ask but often don’t get a chance to. If you are confused about alignment or not sure whether a particular pose or exercise is right for you, or want to learn to meditate but don’t know where to begin or just want to relax but don’t know how, a Private Class is the answer. Come away with a completely personalised yoga or Pilates program designed for your body and goals.

Why PCs?
In your first class you will receive a full postural analysis aimed at identifying:

  • Postural imbalances
  • Muscular imbalances
  • Joint restrictions
  • Hypermobile joints

You will leave your first class with a 10-minute home practice focussed around your primary goal. At your second private class you will receive a completely personalised yoga or Pilates program designed for your body and focussed on your goals. You will be led through your program with detailed instruction focussed on the appropriate alignment for your body.

Subsequent PCs will address your questions and assess your progress. Your program will be adjusted as your practice evolves.

How to Maximise the Benefits of PCs
To maximise the benefits of PCs:

  • An initial 1-to-1 PC is recommended to maximise the opportunity for a full and comprehensive postural analysis
  • Combine a once monthly PC with Beginners or General Yoga or Pilates Classes

What are the benefits of learning this way?

  • PCs are a cost effective way of learning yoga or Pilates.
  • A PC is 100% personalised and focussed on your goals.
  • Perhaps you want to attend group classes (Beginners or General Yoga or Pilates classes) but don’t have the confidence? PCs are a gentle way to ease you into yoga or Pilates. You can transition to group classes when you feel ready.
  • Your program grows with you and is constantly adjusted to match your progress.
  • Many of the causes of back and joint pain can be addressed by a customised yoga or Pilates program. If you suffer from back, neck, shoulder, or knee pain an individualised yoga or Pilates program may well be the solution.
  • If you are overweight yoga/Pilates can help and an individualised program can help you get results faster.
  • Perhaps you have special needs that make a group class inaccessible – a PC might be the answer.
  • Are you trying to get pregnant? A personalised program designed to balance hormones might assist.

Unfortunately due to legislation changes in 2019 Private Health Fund rebates are no longer available for Yoga and Pilates Classes
